UNDERSTAND THE FUNDAMENTALS OF CONSERVATION AND MAINTENANCE

  • Differentiate between conservation, maintenance, and restoration
  • Identify the stakeholders and the challenges related to the maintenance of garden sculptures
  • Analyze feedback from the Centre des Monuments Nationaux, including strong points and points for improvement to better understand professional practices

IDENTIFY AND ANALYZE SCULPTURE DETERIORATION

  • Observe and classify types of deterioration
  • Analyze the causes of deterioration and their impact on conservation
  • Objectively monitor their progression

IMPLEMENT AND EVALUATE CONSERVATION AND MAINTENANCE MEASURES

  • Apply the distinction between maintenance and restoration on actual works
  • Apply seasonal protection and maintenance protocols
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of preventive and corrective measures
  • Develop a methodology adapted to site constraints and legal requirements
