UNDERSTAND THE FUNDAMENTALS OF CONSERVATION AND MAINTENANCE
- Differentiate between conservation, maintenance, and restoration
- Identify the stakeholders and the challenges related to the maintenance of garden sculptures
- Analyze feedback from the Centre des Monuments Nationaux, including strong points and points for improvement to better understand professional practices
IDENTIFY AND ANALYZE SCULPTURE DETERIORATION
- Observe and classify types of deterioration
- Analyze the causes of deterioration and their impact on conservation
- Objectively monitor their progression
IMPLEMENT AND EVALUATE CONSERVATION AND MAINTENANCE MEASURES
- Apply the distinction between maintenance and restoration on actual works
- Apply seasonal protection and maintenance protocols
- Evaluate the effectiveness of preventive and corrective measures
- Develop a methodology adapted to site constraints and legal requirements
