About us

CMN Institut supports, in France and abroad, the public establishments of the Ministry of Culture, local authorities, organisations, site managers and owners in the operation and development of their historical, cultural and natural heritage.

The Centre des Monuments Nationaux's teams of 50 professionals cover all areas of heritage: conservation, restoration, opening up to visitors, cultural activities, publishing, digital mediation, tourism, promotion, economic development, etc. Backed by these skills, know-how and experience, the CMN Institut works with the institution's experts in continuing education and cultural engineering.

We work in three areas:- Professional training- Cultural engineering- Organisation of meetings, conferences and professional days.

PROFESSIONAL TRAINING

CMN Institut has been Qualiopi certified since May 2022. The practical and operational training courses are run by professionals. Our trainers, who are experts in their field, are mainly CMN employees. Committed to their professions, they make the most of their know-how, pass on their skills in an operational manner and share their experience. Sessions last from 1 to 3 days and can accommodate up to 10 people to encourage discussion and sharing. For in-company or tailor-made sessions, the offer is adapted to the ambitions and objectives of the client. These customised training programmes can take place on our premises in Saint-Cloud or on their premises. The CMN Institut also organises tailor-made training at the heart of its monuments, particularly for professionals wishing to develop their skills.

CULTURAL ENGINEERING

CMN Institut provides cultural engineering services in France and abroad. Each expert is identified according to his or her training, responsibilities and professional experience. In collaboration with the project team, he/she provides analysis, diagnosis, recommendations and an action plan to meet the needs and objectives of the client. In this way, the CMN Institut team and its experts are able to establish a diagnosis and offer support in a variety of areas of expertise: project management, restoration of historic monuments, tourism networking, management of the bookshop-shop, cultural mediation services, setting up exhibitions, digital innovation, etc.

MEETINGS, CONFERENCES AND PROFESSIONAL DAYS

CMN Institut organises workshops in the form of conferences and professional meetings. These are essential opportunities for professionals in the same sector to exchange ideas, discover new things and share experiences.
