Architecture Notebooks
unique, one-of-a-kind monographs on modern and contemporary architecture.
Introduction
The Architecture Notebooks build on the Architects’ Notebooks by continuing to explore little-known aspects of 20th century architecture in France. A thematic approach brings together unconventional or low-profile figures who have fuelled the debate and opened up new perspectives on major contemporary issues (the home, schools, holidays, utopia, etc.). The tools remain the same: archives, architectural drawings and period photographs, combined with contemporary views to gauge the enduring quality of the works. This collection is aimed at professionals and students alike, as well as enthusiasts of architecture, urban sociology or contemporary history.
