The Olympic Torch Relay
Before reaching Paris, the Olympic Flame will pass close to several CMN monuments. It is due to arrive in France on 8 May aboard the Belem. The Château d'If will be in the front row, followed by the Château d'Angers, Chartres Cathedral and the Cité Internationale de la Langue Française at the Château de Villers-Cotterêts.

Cultural Olympiad and other events in monuments
The Centre des monuments nationaux is vibrating to the rhythm of Paris 2024! Take the opportunity to visit our monuments and combine sport and culture with a rich and varied programme.
Discover four exceptional artistic creations as part of theCultural Olympiad.
On 8 May, enjoy "Room With A View" by the Ballet national de Marseille - (LA)HORDE, the Groupe Grenade - Josette Baïz and the Ecole nationale de danse de Marseille at the Château d'If.
On 16 May, at nightfall, the Retouramont dance company will take to the ramparts of Carcassonne.
On 31 May, at Mont-Saint-Michel Abbey, the Compagnie Hors-Surface will be showcasing its sporting and artistic prowess.
From 16 to 18 July, at the Panthéon, discover the show Möbius Morphosis, a new monumental creation by Rachid Ouramdane and Compagnie XY with Chaillot - Théâtre national de la Danse.
And much more besides! From June onwards, discover an exhibition on thehistory of Paralympism at the Panthéon, take upfencing at the Hôtel de Sully, or take part in sporting activities at the Villa Cavrois.
