THE RESTORATION OF THE TANCRÈDE ET CLORINDE TAPESTRY
Contribute to the restoration of the Tancrède et Clorinde tapestry and help to the presentation of this hanging made up of seven works, never exhibited before.

BRING YOUR SUPPORT TO FRENCH HERITAGE!
Woven in wool and silk, in Paris, during the second half of the 17th century, according to sketches by Michel 1er Corneille, these seven works represent chapters from the Poem Jerusalem Delivered by Tasso and published in 1581.
These tapestries, purchased by the Centre des monuments nationaux between 1967 and 2012, are currently being cleaned and restored within the prestigious workshops of the De Wit royal manufacturers in Belgium. The work achieved combines advanced technologies with traditional skills.
YOUR SUPPORT IS NEEDED
In order to enhance this restoration, a new lighting for the wall-hanging is also planned.
The global budget is 330.000€. The tapestry will be presented in early 2017.
